'When an elder dies, a book burns.' Libraries on Fire believes that the oldest among us are 'libraries on fire’ and that it’s essential to celebrate the precious and intangible assets of our elderly—their lives, their dreams, their stories. Acting on this belief, Libraries on Fire offers workshops, lectures and discussions free of charge to seniors living in assisted living facilities and nursing homes.
Workshops available include Writing from Photographs, Writing from Place, and Writing Your Life. Alison and Brad can also design a workshop specifically for your group.
Alison and Brad are also available for lectures and discussions on various aspects of the writing life.
